No matter how you play, keep at it! You will eventually get good, even with 10 minutes a day. Me being a spread player, I can now handle 260bpm streams (1040 arrows a minute, 17 a second) quite nicely, though that is near my limit. One handed is seen as more skilled when you really reach a top level (passing vertex beta and the likes), indexing (index fingers only, on arrow keys) is better for timing and jacks/trills, whereas spread can reach insane speeds in general. Its goal is to become a cross-platform sandbox and working museum for the genre, supporting nearly 25 years worth of content. There really is a sea of diffirence between playing one handed, index or spread, each is it’s own style. Project OutFox is a fully extensible, cross-platform rhythm game sim engine based on StepMania, featuring 17 different modes simulating different dance, instrument, and key-based rhythm games. Installing it is pretty easy, just unzip and place it in /stepmania/noteskins/dance, then select them through the menu in stepmania. Additionally, try downloading a diffirent noteskin (look of the arrows), a very popular one is cel (()) Also, turning off the background can be a major help. Try upping your speedmods :) Faster scrolling of the arrows makes the screen more empty, so you can see the arrows more easily.
